I was searching some possible good Korean, Japanese or Chinese movies to watch few nights ago and i happen to visit a site where it says Jung Da Bin, one of the cast of Attic Cat died. Take note, she committed suicide because of depression also.

I was really shocked. I wasn’t expecting it will be the second time i read such depressing news. First was Lee Eun-ju who died at the age of 24 and also of the same month as Jung Da Bin which is February but not the same year. Jahhh..They are both great Korean actress who died at a young age.

What happen to them? Will too much depression really lead you to commit suicide? I know i came to a point in my life where i entertain thoughts of committing suicide but I never do it because of my faith. Running away from a problem is never a solution. I know i could not bring them back but i am so sad for them. I hope they were stronger. Sayang talaga!

Last night, i watched the first two parts/episodes of the movie The Scarlet Letter. I got interested with the movie upon reading its summary on Crunchyroll that’s why I watched it. And few minutes ago, I finished the last part or episode of it.

I find the movie emotionally heavy especially on the last scene where Eun-jun Lee and Suk-kyu Han were on the car. Ki-hoon(Suk-kyu Han) just got a commendation and it was the birthday also of Ga-Hee (Eun-ju Lee) so they went on a trip (sort of adventure), have sex on the back of the car and lock theirselves. Unfortunately, they couldn’t open it anymore so they were stocked. Imagine yourself on that situation for a couple of days? I couldn’t control my emotions seeing that scene. I don’t know how to describe it but it was indeed my first time to see a movie like that.

I become more sad when I read some comments of fellow members on Crunchyroll because i learned that Eun-ju Lee commits suicide in the real life like what happened in the movie. At a young age, she died? I am so depressed and I can’t imagine she ended her life after those criticisms she got with this movie because of the explicit sex scenes. I thought, she is ready for it after she had decided to do such movie. Hyeon-a Seong even had explicit sex scens on her movie in Lover but did not suffer the same fate.

You know what, she is absolutely great in this movie and I even admire her knack for singing and acting. Sayang talaga, as in sayang! Do you know what exactly had happened to her?

On the night of February 22, 2005, only a few days after her graduation from Dankook University, Lee committed suicide at her apartment in Bundang, Seongnam. She was 24 years old. She slit her wrists and hanged herself. She left a suicide note scrawled in blood, in which she wrote, “Mom, I am sorry and I love you.” A separate note said, “I wanted to do too much. Even though I live, I’m not really alive.
